So in all reality I will probably not keep this blog up very often. I have much more better things to do like, wash the car, mow the lawn, feed the cats and most importantly, ride my bike!!!! A few friends of mine have blogs and I read them often. Sometimes I wonder what I would write down if I had a blog. In my every day life I'm a bit of a Jackass, but in only the nicest way. I tend to tell people what I really think and this can sometimes get me in a bit of trouble.
I work in a gas station so I see many lame people all day long. Folks will drive way out of their way to save a freaking penny! I hear it all thew time. " Oh man, I must have passed like 30 gas stations to get here" I like to think it's really because people like to drive out of their way to come and see me. I also get the folks that no matter how you approch them they are going to have a bad day no matter what! They come in just so they can give me or one of my employees crap! Funny how when this happens their pump just shuts off. Well actually it's failer is due to one of us pulling the plug from our switch board. I love this part of my job!
We also get the jerks that, want to leave their engines on, smoke, cut people off, call me names and try to push their weight around because to them I am a low life gas station attendent. These folks have the pump shut off too. The fun thing is I do it right in front of them and tell them to get the hell on! The looks on their faces is priceless!
Also like my friends with Blogs, I race mountain bikes. Someitmes I brake them more than I ride them but I guess that's just how it is. I like the pain and the feeling of completeing something that at times makes me want to barf and give in. This picture here was taken this year at the Fontana National #1. I was having the race of my freaking life and, BANG!!! My rear tire exploded. Well, you win some and you loose some. Never the less I had a great day. You just got to take the hand that was delt to you and keep on truckin!
Last week I raced in North Santa Barbara Co. It was freaking Hot and well, freaking HOT! I came accross in 7th and was happy not to have any bike issues. The next day as I was going over my bike I noticed that I was missing a chainring bolt and all the others were loose. It's amazing that everything held together!
I will let you know at this time I'm a cat lover. This is Alexander and he will kick your ass!!! He's off the street and I think I was a I.E. South Side Vatto Loco Cat Pack! As you can see from the picture he has a squint in his eyes that is always watching my back. I actuallity, he will warm up to anybody with food. He can often times bite you without notice and in the next second be puring on your lap. He's a bit of a head case and is full of emotional issues. I think he sniffed paint while he lived on the street. The first nite we had him he jumped on my lap, stole my prok chop and took a beating with Lesli's shoe. Nothing but love for our kitties.
